On Friday, November 25, 2022, on the “International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women,” Bonn’s Town Hall Square lit up in a sea of lights. 365 candles lit by the Soroptimist International Club Bonn lit Every third candle was a grave light, which is a reminder that every third day a woman dies due to domestic violence.
We thank the organizers and the mayor Katja Dörner for this impressive action and for sending a clear signal: No to violence against women.
