March 8 is International Women’s Day!
We will also be represented with our stand this year in Bonn’s Stadthaus, where we will be available from 10 am to 4 pm to chat, pursue our shared visions and celebrate ourselves 🙂
This year’s theme for Women’s Day is “Women vote”, one of the most important milestones on the road to equal opportunities for men and women. On November 30, 1918, the law granting women the right to vote came into force for the first time in Germany.
However, the right to vote, which we take for granted today, had to prevail against many prejudices. For example, that we women have a reduced intelligence or are more useful in the private sphere than in the public political sphere due to our ability to give birth.
Let us therefore celebrate this important progress and campaign for even more equality in politics.
